| I'll learn to handle the two fairy groups someday. Lagged behind with a few border bursts at the beginning of the battle. Same problem got me on Xanadu of Straight and Curve just like the other run. I'll try to look up to her health bar to make sure the border finishes before the spell does, and I let myself get hit by two orbs underneath. If I would just pay attention to to the timer and type of character I would have a feel for how long I should hold off. Oh, there's the problem I created right there. I'm holding off the border activation on her spell because I still fear it, but there's really no problem anymore unless I lose track of where she is and catch myself in one of her lasers. Border of Life and Death, again. My anxiety didn't run so deep this run, but my character's state made me flail about during the spell. Or maybe I always do that. I would never live it down if I died with six bombs in stock. On this stage anyhow. I think I already did something like that on one of the easy runs. |

| Not much to say, I've established a consistent method for border activation during the small bullets after Ran, using a bomb (probably not necessary), so here's another go. Ah, I need to quit letting my anxiety take over. It started around her last nonspell and after that I was too worried about concentrating to actually concentrate. I couldn't even trust myself as to where the safespot was for her last survival card, but that's what I get for cheesing it out. Can't say much about Border of Life and Death, I usually have fun with it and I really should accept that I'm still going to break whatever score I make in the future instead of saying, "Oh, well I made it this far with few errors so I better not play the way I normally do and try to go for minimal risks, or play under fear of failure and stress." Same thing for the storyline is that it scares me very much when I try to accomplish a feat I know I cannot consistently achieve (especially stages 4 and 6) with my level of playing, but I still do it any |

| All right, one billion! I did not expect that this run considering the misses, but I also rarely have an opportunity to graze the small bullet spam post-Ran with a border, most scenarios. Yeah, I don't have a good way of taking out the last two fairy groups besides using a bomb or border activation depending on what I did during Ran. Lost my sense of positioning for a moment on Shikigami Ran so I bombed out of doubt. Border of Life and Death is still hit or miss. It should have been fine near the end where I found what looked like a safe spot, just waiting on the soon-to-come border and the last wave but my fooling around and not quite being underneath Yukari slammed me with her 30-sec special. Quite ugly, but I already expect at least one death there so nothing upsetting. |

I couldn't stand to see a character type I put less time into score better than any attempts made on my favorite and more likely than not I'll get runs like these. Even with that trainwreck of a battle I still scored better than anything else I've made on Reimu B. This definitely needs to be replaced once I'm not so flustered. |

| Well, after recording some stuff in MoF for YouTube, the game decided to slap my score.dat and re-lock Extra Stage. Rather than 1cc a difficulty, I decided to 1cc Hard without bombs (I was thinking of doing it on Lunatic, but fuck no... Kefit made like 5 mistakes in his bombless Lunatic 1cc, I'd probably make like 3 times that >_>). Nailed this first shot, and I never played Stages 3-6 on Hard, so you might be able to spot me confused every now and then (emphasis on Kanako's 2nd noncard). |

| Out of the blue I thought I'd tackle Phantasm on a character besides Reimu B and produce a new best overall record for myself. The wonders of playing without stress, much unlike MoF runs where it screams 'no error!' at you. So I still don't have a strategy for the fairy waves after Ran. I completely forgot how to tackle Yukari's Spiriting Away but thankfully it's a forgiving spell. Same thing happened for wave four of her second survival card. Bombs away. |

| Extra 7+ spellcard capturage, 1st successful run after a number of messups. I practiced Ex-Keine before this, enough to get a decent success ratio on all 3 spellcards. That was the deciding factor, it seems...
Overall 5 deaths, 9/14 captures. 1 life + 1 bomb left. 3094 graze, 949 points, 24865 time.

| Virtue of Wind God capture. Ignoring that silly death in the stage and the random death on Kanako's final non-spell card, I couldn't ask for a better run to finally capture this beast. Included is possibly the most amazing dodge of a bullet wall in the history of Touhou, and is what basically sealed VoWG's fate. |

| Gave it a go again now that the stages aren't so vague to me, but I don't have a real plan for faith collection besides 'leave items floating around just in case'. Yes, I will definitely take Kanako's normal version of her fourth and fifth spell anytime. I knew the run was getting to my head again so rather than suffer a very likely death or two near the end I adopted the bad attitude and bombed right through her third card. It may be a so-so score but one billion looks like a nice benchmark for most of the games in the series. |

| Finished with less lives compared to the other run but a higher score overall. Well, that's not saying much. Runs like these are pretty much 0% risk. There's no...real challenge, not when I allow myself to spend so many bombs. It's just practicing caution but that mindset doesn't suit me. I'll just fold under pressure and be too minimal, and that makes the playthrough quite dull. I liked the previous run better. |

| Actually a normal run I did for the lulz after taking off my glasses. I'm quite nearsighted so this is me with my face practically pressed against the monitor. Exhibit A: 3 deaths against Hina. 3 DEATHS. Exhibit B: Dying against one of Nitori's early spellcards. Exhibit C: Capturing Exteeeeeending Aaaaaarm ohshi-! lulz ensue. |
